Privacy Policy

HolistIQ Health is designed as a local health-information organizer. The current version does not require an account and does not operate a cloud health-data service.

The app may store health-profile information, imported PDFs and images, extracted text, confirmed laboratory values, reference ranges, notes, recommendations, and related metadata in the app’s private container on the user’s device.

PDF extraction, image text recognition, laboratory parsing, educational summaries, wellness-priority calculations, and historical trend screening are performed on the device in the current version. Imported records and extracted health information are not uploaded to a HolistIQ server by the current app. Users must review OCR-derived values against the original record.

The current version does not transmit health profiles, imported medical records, OCR text, laboratory values, recommendations, or trend calculations to HolistIQ Health servers. Data may leave the device only through user-controlled or operating-system features such as sharing, device transfer, backup, or opening an external website or email application.

Data stored in the app’s private container may be included in encrypted Finder, iCloud, or device backups depending on Apple settings. Deleting active app data does not necessarily remove a copy retained in a prior device backup. Users manage those backups through Apple-provided settings.

“Delete Health Profile Only” removes profile details while retaining records, files, laboratory results, and recommendations. “Delete All Health Data” removes all profiles, imported records and stored files, laboratory results, and recommendations from the current app installation. Users can access these controls under Profile → Data Management.

The app provides educational organization, rule-based explanations, reference-range comparisons, wellness priorities, and retrospective trend summaries. These are not diagnoses, disease probabilities, treatment recommendations, or future laboratory predictions. Internally weighted methods are not clinically validated.

The current version does not connect to Apple Health or HealthKit. A future HealthKit feature would require separate permission, disclosure, and policy updates before release.

The current version does not sell health information and does not use it for targeted advertising.

HolistIQ Health is intended only for adults 18 years of age and older. The app is not directed to children under 18 and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from minors.

Users should protect their device with a passcode or biometric lock. No storage or software system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and, when appropriate, by providing notice in the app.
